Derrick L. Wilson Sr.

Owner/Director

Derrick is a highly experienced childcare professional with over 10 years of experience in preschools. He holds a CDA and Director's Credentials and is currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. Derrick is passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. He is also responsible for ensuring that our program is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology and assist with the design and concept of the layout and design of our security systems. Additionally, he is the face of our parent interaction and provides a strong male presence for our students.

Aa'Rikka F. Wilson

Owner/Director

With over 25 years of experience in childcare and preschool, Aa'Rikka has a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Her Development Associate (CDA) credential and Director's Credential are a testament to her dedication to the field. Aa'Rikka believes that every child is unique and learns differently, and she strives to create individualized learning plans to help each child reach their full potential. She is also an advocate for children with Autism and welcomes them wholeheartedly into our program. At Just Kidd'n Around Academy, we believe that Christ should be the foundation in which our program stands, and we are excited to have Aa'Rikka lead our team and help young learners develop into lifelong learners.

Mrs. Frison

Lead Teacher/Staff Manager

Affectionally known as "Grandma" by all the Achievers, Mrs. Frison is a teacher who is held in high esteem by all the children she teaches. She is deeply dedicated to helping young learners develop their social and emotional skills in a manner that is both enjoyable and engaging. With her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and over 30+ years in Childcare Education, Mrs. Frison is able to offer a wealth of creative ideas to assist with the curriculum and guide children on their level. Her unwavering commitment and mothering instinct in helping every child reach their full potential in preparing for primary school is what drives her to help every child learn on their own level.

Armekka Frison

Ms. Frison is a teacher who is dedicated and passionate about her work. She strongly believes that art plays a crucial role in the development of children and is committed to providing a nurturing and creative environment for her young learners. Ms. Frison's communication with parents is detailed and thorough, leaving no room for misunderstandings. Her interactions with her students are fun-filled and engaging, making them want to stay with her all day. As she works towards her CDA, Ms. Frison continues to strive towards excellence in her teaching and is committed to helping her students reach their full potential.

Tyreisha Smith

We are delighted to have Ms. Smith as a member of our program, and we are particularly excited about the potential for growth that she brings. Although she is new to the field of Early Childhood Education, she has already demonstrated her love for children of all ages and her ability to help with the flow of each classroom. Her respect for everyone is truly admirable, and we are confident that she will continue to make valuable contributions to our program. We are proud to have her on our team and look forward to seeing all that she will accomplish.

Artemis Sime

Ms. Sime exceptional love for toddlers is truly remarkable and highly commendable. She is an invaluable asset in the Early Childhood field due to her excellent communication skills, which enable her to effectively communicate with both children and their parents. Her unwavering dedication and passion for providing a strong foundation for future academic success truly inspiring.
